Lincoln Park Maternity Shoot!

It was a REALLY cold day, but Bianca and Martin were not about to let that stop them from getting some maternity shots around Lincoln Park in Chicago!  We walked to some of their favorite spots, quickly dropping all the coats and hats and gloves to get some great shots of Bianca's baby-bump and then bundling up again to head to the next spot!  We were all pretty excited when it was time to head back indoors and thaw-out before we took a few more shots.

Headshots in the West Loop!

Last weekend I did some headshots for a VERY demanding client...my wife.  :) . Edda wanted some new headshots for both business and social media so we spent a couple of hours wandering around the West Loop in Chicago, exploring a few of the great spots there.  I think we came away with a great selection of professional and fun shots!  I can't wait to go back when the weather is a little warmer (OK, a LOT warmer)!

Ariel and Desiree

My favorite photos from my wedding are the ones that instantly transport me back to that time and place.  The ones that surround me with all the emotions of the day. 

Those are the photos I wanted to capture for Ariel and Desiree.  Those authentic moments that they can look back on in 30 years and still feel how they did in that moment.  They gave me the freedom to blend into the background and capture those split-second moments that are impossible to pose.
