On a beautiful Sunday morning, Falko and Thomas showed me some of their favorite sites in Göppingen that also captured the spirit of their company. My Mom was born in Central Illinois and I love going back to visit family there! Now, with our 2-year-old daughter as our 6AM portable alarm clock, we have plenty of time to explore the countryside early in the morining!
It was a drizzly morning but nothing that a good rain jacket couldn't handle, so we set off driving mostly aimlessly from our hotel through the fields. When we came upon this barn I knew we had to stop. The foreboding sky hovering over the barn that's clearly seen and survived hundreds of storms before...and the sun just peeking over the horizon. I could get all philosophical here, but suffice it to say that I think these elements come together to create an intriguing scene.
